Anyway, as a lot of you know I was hired by Discover America to write and host a few travel videos to promote tourism in Utah, specifically for the Canadian demographic. Lucky for me, that means that I was able to travel and experience all the things that a Canadian traveler might want to do. It was eye-opening, but in many ways surreal... At times it felt like a social study. I suppose we're drawn to what we know. In fact, many Canadian attractions are outdoorsy.
So for almost a week, my team and I drove from city to city and park to park, getting the full Canadian... Utah experience. All the way from hiking Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks, to soaking up the Sundance Mountain Resort, to kayaking and horseback riding at Flaming Gorge Reservoir and Antelope Island respectively. So even though we produced a video about Utah, it was for Canadians, and I don't think my friends and family in the North will be disappointed.
But the piece-de-resistance is the exposure as an on-camera personality and writer.
Here are a few pictures and video of my travels. Check back in a few months when Discover America launches their videos!
