Long story short, I always seem to be attracted by projects with existential themes, especially when it comes to the world of acting.
Before we began production, the filmmakers invited me and the cast to their apartment to have a midnight screening of "Jack Smith and the Destruction of Atlantis." And if you haven't seen it, it's worth a watch if you're into that whole 'starving artist' thing. But honestly, I l was absolutely fascinated by this man's journey. Jack Smith stood for his own integrity to the point where it destroyed him, and though that's terrible and incredibly sad, I find comfort in knowing that he gave himself purpose by creating art. Even if only for himself.
Why I mention this is because Jack Smith became a muse for the show creators (Devin, Anthony and Max). He was a symbol of artistic freedom. And this is what excited me about the web series. It's not just a run-of-a-mill behind-the-scenes Actor story. It's reflective and thoughtful, and the comedy is found in the absurdity. I hope you can check it out!
