Yesterday was the table read at CrossCut Films for Richard J Dubin's new screenplay. Thanks to casting director Pamela Staton for asking me to be a part of it's development! It's always exciting to see a project in its early stages and consequently be a witness to its progression. And I gotta say, this one really is smart and seductive. Hopefully I'll be able to post more about it later, but for now it's under wraps.
Also, last night was the Los Angeles premiere of A New York Heartbeat. Congratulations to the director Tjardus Greidanus (who partially workshopped the screenplay at the Judith Weston Studio) and to Escher Holloway for a great performance alongside Rachel Brosnahan, Eric Roberts, Eliza Roberts and Jack Donner.
