Westward-bound on Sunset, we realized that we weren't going to a typical office party. For starters, when we looked up from the intersection at Gardner, we could see the source of the colored lights that danced on the street below. And lined against the window were bottles of liquor, convincing me, at least, to quicken my pace. This was our first impression of the annual Christmas Party at the Trio Talent Agency.
There were the guys with whom I had worked on Access Hollywood, an array of dancers and singers, and of course our man Rodney Chesters. He was cutting the cake.
I met Rodney about a year ago after he had found my headshot on an acting submission site. I had just left a big commercial agency who had promised me a bounty of union auditions, only delivering on said promise (if I was lucky) once a month. My options were limited so I thought, "what the hell?"
Since then, Rodney has booked me twice on Access Hollywood, and has sent me out on back-to-back-to-back commercial auditions. And now, he was slicing me a piece of cake.
So... on a successful party and a successful year, I wish Rodney and the rest of Trio a Merry Christmas!
