Thanks for stopping by to read my blog! Who has a blog anyway? Barely me. At this point, I usually only think to post once a year or so, so I appreciate the support. To keep this short, I updated my commercial reel to include the fun and amazing spot I filmed for Petco / Purina.
I auditioned for this spot and charmed the casting directors with my ease around dogs. I booked it and we filmed overnight at a Petco in San Diego. The shoot was great, and I enjoyed watching everybody work on this major production, including my four-legged co-stars. But behind the scenes, my own dog was in declining health. She sadly passed away a few months after we filmed the commercial (in that nebulous time between which you shoot a commercial, and it's finally released). So this commercial is a bittersweet reminder of those times. I'll always remember it as the commercial that Babs helped me book.
